We are Bing and Julian — and we’re both professional and life partners! We met during the second year of our MBA, and knew in a very short time that we were made for each other. We have diverse and complementary skills and experiences, and a strong partnership that we can’t wait to apply to an exciting business.
We live in Mountain View, California, with our cat Leo and dog Indy.

After getting degrees in Supply Chain Management and Finance from Syracuse University in New York, I worked as a management consultant focused on enhancing operations and processes for corporate clients. My projects varied in scale, from finding a key vendor for an automotive company to creating operational guidelines for a procurement team of over 100 people.
Wanting for some change, I joined a lower-mid market venture capital firm. I took on multiple roles and handled both operational and strategic responsibilities. I collaborated closely with the founders to secure the resources necessary for growth, which taught me how to creatively solve problems with limited means.
My upbringing has encouraged me to take risks in life. My parents came from farming and factory worker families. They chose the entrepreneurial path and built a successful life from nothing. While I always have the itch to do something different from a corporate path, I wasn’t sure I could do it alone. Meeting Julian changed that; he is not only my ideal life partner but also an excellent business partner. He is one of the most brilliant people I know, and balances vision with practicality perfectly. I am truly excited to embark on this journey with him.

I come from a family of small business entrepreneurs, with my grandfather passing his company first established back in 1947 to my father. When my father fell ill, my mother seamlessly took over running the business, and it exists to this day. Through this, I understand the importance of an enterprise’s legacy to its owners and founders. It also sparked a passion for one day owning my own company – even as a teenager I started getting stuck in, helping my mom monitor the cash flow cycle and sort through the warehouse!
Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to experience a range of roles, from starting my career in M&A investment banking, to finance at Google, and now to strategy at YouTube. Throughout all these positions, I’ve developed a sense of companies’ drivers, both strategic and operational, but also a yearning to “return to my roots” and find my own company.
I’m beyond excited to start this journey to find a great business, with a strong track record, and an exciting future ahead that I can dedicate myself to realizing.
Outside of work, I love going for runs with Bing and sometimes our dog Indy (when Indy is involved, the runs are more chaotic!). I enjoy problem-solving, and this means I’m always looking for DIY ways to fix things in our home.
